Museum Campus

Legendary Boxing Training is located in Chicago and offers boxing classes to all interested. The Museum Campus is a 57-acre park also headquartered in Chicago that is next to Lake Michigan in Grant Park. It includes five of the city’s most famous attractions: the Adler Planetarium, America’s first planetarium, the Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum of Natural History, Soldier Field, where the NFL Chicago Bears play, and the Lakeside Center of McCormick Place. Along the water, Museum Campus is next to Northerly Island.

Kosciuszko, Havlicek, and Nicholas Copernicus’s sculptures line the drive. The Copernicus statue is a copy of a famous 19th-century work by Danish sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen in Warsaw.

Past

Museum Campus opened June 4, 1998. By eliminating a road, Museum Campus became a park. A Group of Chicago museums founded Museum Campus South in 2014. In June 2016, Friends of the Parks canceled these plans.

Present

In August 2016, Museum Campus joined many Chicago beaches and Buckingham Fountain in giving visitors free Wi-Fi. City of Chicago, Chicago Parks District, and Everywhere Wireless partnered to make this happen.
