Where children become champions

In 2002, Restoration Ministries opened the Harvey Boxing Club to teach at-risk, underserved youth the sport of boxing and give them a safe place to be after-school and during the summer. The Club motto is “It’s better to sweat in the gym than bleed in the streets.” At the Club, good grades, good attitudes, and good sportsmanship are promoted and rewarded. Our goal is to help children become champions in the ring and in life. Whether members compete or not, they benefit from the lessons learned and the camaraderie they will experience.
